Terms and Conditions

JB Revision · last updated 4 October 2026

These terms are the rules for using JB Revision and its subject sites. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them; if you don't, please don't use it. They're written to be read, so they're short.

1 · What the site is

JB Revision is a free revision site run by Josh B, a student. It collects past-paper questions and mark schemes by topic for GCSE and International GCSE subjects, with tools to practise them, mark yourself, take mock papers and plan revision.

It isn't connected to, approved by or run by any exam board or school.

2 · Your account

  • New accounts need an email address that's yours: we email it a 6-digit code to check, and it's how you reset your password if you forget it.
  • One account per person. Keep your password to yourself, and don't let anyone else use your account; you're responsible for what's done with it.
  • Pick a username that isn't offensive and doesn't pretend to be someone else.
  • If you're under 13, ask a parent or carer before creating an account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the menu under your name.

3 · Past papers and mark schemes

The past papers, mark schemes and examiners' reports are © their exam boards (AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR, WJEC/Eduqas and Cambridge University Press & Assessment). They're shown here, mostly as pictures cut from the papers and as the boards' own PDFs from Physics & Maths Tutor, for personal, non-commercial revision only. Don't copy them in bulk, sell them, or publish them elsewhere.

4 · Using it fairly

Please don't:

  • try to get into accounts that aren't yours, or test or get around the site's security, without Josh B's permission;
  • download the site's content in bulk (for example with scripts or scrapers), or overload it with requests;
  • use it to bully, harass or upset anyone, or put anything unlawful or offensive in a username or topic list;
  • use it to make money, or pass it off as your own.

Access keys for agents and scripts are only given out by the admin, and the same rules apply to anything using one.

5 · Accuracy

Questions, parts, topics and mark-scheme pages are cut and matched automatically from thousands of papers, so mistakes happen: a question might be on the wrong topic, a mark-scheme row might not be the right one, or a topic-list match might miss. Grades are worked out from the boards' published grade boundaries and are estimates, not predictions of your real result. Always check against official materials and your teachers when it matters.

6 · Availability

The site is free and provided as it is. It may be down for maintenance (you'll see a page with a countdown), and features or content may change or be removed. There's no guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

7 · Ending accounts

Josh B may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, and may close the site. If the site closes, accounts and progress will be deleted.

8 · Responsibility

As far as the law allows, Josh B isn't responsible for any loss caused by using the site, such as relying on a grade estimate or a mark scheme that turns out to be wrong. Nothing in these terms limits anything that can't legally be limited.

9 · Your information

How your information is kept and used is explained in the Privacy Policy, including cookies, which you can change with Cookie settings.

10 · Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes will be pointed out on the site. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

11 · The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

12 · Questions

Email Josh B, who runs the site, at [email protected]. An automatic assistant reads emails first: it answers simple questions about the site, can email a password-reset link to the address on your account, and passes everything else to Josh B. Reply to its email if you'd like a person.
